Janus is an eldest son and heir to the BERNADI BROTHERS SHIPPING COMPANY, specialising in overnight and refrigerated trucking and operating out of the Port of Savannah. Janus is a large Italian-American man of few words, physically hardened by the labor required of the business.

Janus came to the attention of Oswald Mendoza during the process of renovating the Shattered Refuge, and stayed on his radar as a man who would do deliveries and consult on unusual logistical requests without asking too many questions.
