Issued by the Hand and Seal of Prince Marcus Devereaux
Let it be known to the Kindred of Savannah:
Three individuals have recently come into our custody under circumstances that defy standard understanding. They exhibit all known markers of the Kindred condition—Beasts, hunger, the Curse—but no Clan, no lineage, and no sire.
This is unprecedented. It is also dangerous.
Despite their origin remaining unknown, their nature is clear. They are Kindred. And as such, they fall under our purview and our protection—if they can be properly guided.
To that end, I am offering an opportunity: any Kindred of good standing may come forward to claim one of these fledglings as their childe. This claim is not symbolic. You will be held responsible for their integration, their discipline, and their conduct. They will remain on probationary status until such time as they are judged stable and well-acclimated, as any Embrace under the Edict would be.
They will require Housetraining. They must be accepted into your Clan by its head, and they must understand their place within it.
This is not a light commitment. It is a duty. If you wish to take it on, I expect you to speak first with your Family, and then direct all inquiries to Seneschal Abernathy.
Do not mistake uncertainty for freedom. These fledglings must not be left untethered.
