To the Kindred of Savannah,

By my word as Prince, I bring to your attention a matter of great consequence and solemn gravity.

As many of you now know, our neighbors to the south have endured horrors of a different breed. The city of Miami—once a stronghold of Kindred power and community—has fallen into peril. A corporation by the name of Luxidine has moved against them with methods both insidious and brutal, reducing a once-thriving city into fragmented resistance. Many of their number have perished. The rest now flee.

It is for this reason that I formally announce the arrival of thirty Kindred and approximately fifty Ghouls from Miami into our city, where they shall be offered safe harbor. They come not as beggars, but as allies—willing to work beside us in the defense of Savannah and the stability of our Court. In return for sanctuary, they have pledged their strength, skills, and resources to our ongoing efforts against the Brood and other emerging threats.

Let me remind you: before the first Brood War, our city held nearly one hundred and fifty Kindred. When the smoke cleared, only twenty-one of us remained. Thanks to the Edict and the resilience of this Court, we have grown. Even after our recent losses, our number has risen again—nearly fifty Kindred strong. With the addition of these refugees from Miami, we now rise to more than seventy-five Kindred within Savannah. This is not just recovery. This is resurgence.

To honor this moment and give structure to this influx, I hereby declare the establishment of The Miami District, located just west of Ventrue territory. This land has been made available through the diligent efforts and considerable generosity of Keeper Antonia Coleman and her people. I extend my personal gratitude to her for securing the property necessary to grant these Kindred a foothold and a sense of place within our domain.

I further thank Oswald Mendoza and Scout Evander Reid, whose considerable talents in the realm of covert systems interference played a crucial role in obscuring the escape of our new allies. Their technical acumen ensured that Luxidine’s gaze did not follow the trail here.

And to Seneschal Dotty Abernathy, whose tireless negotiation and vision brought this alliance to fruition—you have my respect, my thanks, and the gratitude of this entire city.

To ensure cohesion, communication, and stability in the nights to come, I appoint Marisol Vega as my Liaison to the Miami Kindred. Questions, conflicts, or concerns regarding this transition will pass through her hands. Representing the voice and will of the Miami Kindred within our Court will be Dahlia Cortez, who will be granted the privileges and expectations of a recognized representative henceforth.

Let it be understood: any Kindred who acts against this alliance without cause acts against my decree and the future of our city. We are stronger together. Let us prove it not only with our words—but with our actions.

In Vigilance and in Unity,
Marcus Devereaux
Prince of Savannah
