Retrospective: Looking back on Local Terrorist Attack.

“ … Thank you. I’m here at the BASF chemical manufacturing plant, which was closed six months ago after a terrorist bombing caused a massive chain reaction. The entire plant had to be closed in order to address toxic spills and safety concerns. It’s believed that the two extremists, both of whom were killed in the explosion, were responding to claims of BASF dumping harmful chemicals into the local water. BASF was acquitted of all charges three months prior to the bombing.

BASF is one of the largest local employers, and the plant being closed has meant over ten thousand workers have been out of work. That difficult struggle is over now, with BASF announcing they would be re-opening their doors next week – six months above the expected schedule required for the clean up! Thankful workers are excited to return to the workplace and the community can finally put this tragedy behind us. ”
